Objective: The objective of this program is to facilitate employee participation as volunteers with local charitable organizations. The Ivie Cares Community Service Volunteer Program allows eligible Ivie employees paid time off in order to support the qualified charitable organizations that are closest to them.

DESCRIPTION:

Through the Ivie Cares Community Service Program, all eligible regular, full-time Ivie associates will be allowed up to 24 hours of paid time off per year to volunteer their time with qualified charitable organizations of their choice. All eligible part-time associates will be allowed up to 12 hours of paid time off per year.

Ivie Cares, in association with VolunteerMatch, will also provide a search tool to help you find volunteer opportunities. This tool will be located on the Ivie Cares website at www.IvieCares.org/volunteer. Keep in mind that not all organizations accessible through Volunteer Match are necessary qualified organizations, so you may still need to do some research to make sure they are 501(c)(3) organizations.
